Career Ear is an intelligent careers advice and discovery platform founded by Claudine Adeyemi. They recently received £50K funding from the CareerTech Challenge Prize. This enables them to support from Nesta UK, using big data to transform how adults access careers, and connect job seekers with industry professionals for mentoring and careers advice.
London CLC has launched a remote learning dedicated webpage with useful resources and links to help schools and parents. They have valuable tips on best practice principles and the key steps you can take to help children continue learning whilst at home.
Brixton Finishing School provides a premium learning experience with creative, digital skills, real-world experiences. They are recruiting passionate 14-25-year old for their free 10-week programme which offers real-world advertising experience. They are asking for donations to fund a nationwide, virtual school that will keep the doors of adland open for diverse’ talent.
Generation has a Summer 2020 programme. This a free 12 week programme to kickstart careers in tech as an AWS Cloud Support Practitioner — no existing experience needed. It’s a skills development and job training programme that prepares learners for careers in the cloud.
