Use your skills and experience to support young people to learn about the tech sector.
The London Enterprise Adviser Network helps young people to build the skills and experiences they need to lead successful futures. It does this by connecting businesses with schools and colleges. This ensures that young people are aware of all the career pathways and opportunities available to them.
What are Enterprise Advisers?
Enterprise Advisers are business volunteers who work in senior roles. They volunteer their time and help school and college careers leaders to increase their engagement with businesses and to access local careers resources. They then work with the careers leaders to make sure these encounters between students and employers are the basis of a structured careers plan. This means that young Londoners from all backgrounds can access the opportunities that the capital has to offer. Please read the volunteer description for more information.
Use your skills and experience to support young people to learn about the tech sector. By working with a local school to increase their business engagement, all young people will grow up with the skills and experiences they need to make informed decisions about their futures.
Prepare and inspire young people for the fast-changing world of work by volunteering with schools and colleges. By working to increase business engagement with education, we can make sure all young people have the skills and experiences they need to be successful.
In June 2018, the Mayor announced the expansion of the London Enterprise Adviser Network to support state secondary schools, Pupil Referral Units and Further Education Colleges in every London borough.
The expanded London Enterprise Adviser Network will connect even more schools with London’s employers. This will help to ensure that all young Londoners can build the networks they need to lead successful and fulfilling lives.
LEAN is funded by the Careers & Enterprise Company and the Greater London Authority.
